The 2016 Short-season Hitter of the Year is Jason Morozowski (Staunton 2013), who played (besides three other teams, too) for Hillsboro in the Northwest League!

For Hillsboro, Jason hit 291/370/597 in 38 games and 134 at-bats, with 33 runs, 27 RBIs, 8 doubles, 3 triples, 9 home runs, 3 stolen bases, and a 12/34 BB/K ratio. Over four total levels in 2016, Jason hit 247/331/434 in 373 at-bats.
