2016 Rookie Leagues Pitcher of the Year

The 2016 Rookie Level Pitcher of the Year is Jim McDade (Strasburg 2013), who pitched in the Arizona League for the Padres.

The 6-foot-5 righty from Millersville dominated hitters after signing as an undrafted free agent with San Diego. He went 5-1, 1.59 in 18 games, with 2 saves, a 0.91 WHIP, 1.6 BB/9, and 7.2 K/9 in 34 innings pitched. He had the best ERA and WHIP of pitchers considered for this list.
