Josh pummeled the ball for the Braves, finishing with rate stats of 315/447/528 in 89 at-bats, along with 25 runs, 14 RBIs, 4 doubles, 5 home runs, and an even 18/18 BB/K ratio. He also went 3-4 in his last game in the Valley, the “seeding game” against the Turks. He scored a run, hit a double, and stole a base in the game. He finished 3rd in the league in slugging percentage, 3rd in on-base percentage, and 2nd in OPS (on-base plus slugging).
Josh has played three complete seasons for the Tribe. As a freshman in 2012, Josh hit 260/298/362 in 196 at-bats. He scored 29 runs, drove in 34, and hit 12 doubles, a triple, 2 home runs, and had a 9/42 BB/K ratio.
Josh didn’t play in 2013, but returned to full time action as a sophomore in 2014. He hit 294/366/404 in 136 at-bats, with 7 doubles, a triple, 2 home runs, and a 7/31 BB/K ratio. He was named to the CAA All-Tournament team after his sophomore season.
In 2015, as a junior, Josh hit 237/321/355 in 186 at-bats, with 13 doubles, 3 triples, a home run, and a 17/41 BB/K ratio.
