Minor League Record Book: Career Saves

This is another eclectic group. Most career minor league saves since the 2006 draft:

1 Rob Delaney New Market ’03 80
2 Chris Perez Staunton ’04 61
3 Greg Burke New Market ’03 54
4 David Carpenter Covington ’04 53
5 Josh Judy Haymarket ’06-07 51
6 Austin Hubbard Fauquier ’08 49
7 Kevin Johnson Haymarket ’09 43
8 Josh Edgin Winchester ’07 35
9 Pete Andrelczyk Waynesboro ’07 32
10 Derrick Lutz Front Royal ’04 29
Kaleb Fleck Waynesboro ’08-10 29

Delaney, Perez, Burke, Carpenter, Judy, and Edgin have all pitched in the majors. Hubbard, Lutz and Andrelczyk are out of pro ball, while Johnson and Fleck are still active (Fleck saved 17 games in 2014). (I think, though, that if Andrelczyk had stayed healthy, he would have made The Show.)

Only two minor league categories remain!
