Kuhl With Another Excellent Start

Chad Kuhl Bradenton 2014Chad Kuhl (New Market 2012) didn’t spend an entire summer in the Valley, but he sure dominated while he was here. In 6 starts, he was 4-0, 1.11, with 39 baserunners and 39 strikeouts in 40 2/3 innings pitched.

A 9th round draft pick in 2013 by the Pittsburgh Pirates, Chad has been pitching in the High-A Florida State League for Bradenton this season, and 5 days ago, he turned in what was probably his best start of the season. In 7 innings, Chad allowed only 2 hits, 0 runs, 2 walks, and struck out 3. For the season, he’s now 8-5, 3.55, with 90 hits, only 19 walks, and 69 strikeouts in 96 1/3 innings pitched.
