In 2012, Joseph Odom had an incredible season for the Winchester Royals. True, it was the Summer of Offense, but still, 350/407/706 with 15 doubles and 17 home runs is rather noteworthy. In fact, his 17 home runs holds the record in the Valley League since 2004.
So it was no surprise to see that Joseph, now catching for the Lynchburg Hillcats in the Atlanta Braves’ system, hit two home runs last night in the Carolina League. The 13th round draft pick in 2013 is now hitting 231/325/375 in 104 at-bats. He has 3 doubles, 4 home runs, and a 15/25 BB/K ratio.
Nice game, Joseph!
